The Floortex Cleartex Ultimat chair mat is made from original polycarbonate, a material used in aircraft windscreens and bulletproof glass. It has twice the impact strength of vinyl and lies flat for immediate use when delivered rolled. The extended lip protects the floor beneath a desk, while the clear finish lets the flooring show through. Polycarbonate does not react with varnished or lacquered wood, and the mat is compatible with underfloor heating. It is free from phthalates, PVC, tin, lead and cadmium, 100% recyclable, and safe for children and pets.
